Making Boxes

Today I’m sharing a little side-project I’ve been working on. I recently started a new site with a different focus, free box templates and paper crafts. It’s mostly been a little experiment of mine as I’ve been learning about basic design and how to use Adobe Illustrator. I recently finished up an Illustrator course taught by Alma, from Ollibird, and offered through Nicole’s Classes.  I hope to share more about the course soon, but for now let’s just say that I would recommend to anyone to check out the classes offered there.

So, I’ve been making all kinds of boxes and it’s the weirdest thing how much I’ve been enjoying it!  I love sewing, but the space we’re in right now makes it more difficult for me to sew on a regular basis, so the boxes allow me to engage in some pretty inexpensive creativity. 🙂  Below you can see the Easter boxes I’ve made and a St. Patrick’s Day kiss box, but there are several more in the works.

I promise I’ll continue to share fun stuff with you here and will be back soon with more fun projects!
