Man’s Shirt to Toddler Dress
All of these remakes of men’s shirts are just so inspiring! Most recently, Shannon from luvinthemommyhood created this dress and I absolutely love it. Love the colors, love the breezy look about it, love the flower…love everything about it! It’s also encouraging to know that a beginning sewer created it since I’m still a newbie myself. Shannon doesn’t have a tutorial up yet, but she’s working on one so keep an eye out on her blog!

Best Pajama Pants Tutorial..Ever
Ok…so crazy skull print aside…this tutorial at Instructables is awesome. I know very little about sewing and I cranked out about 10 pair of pants around Christmas using these instructions. Please note, that if you’re making these for small children they should not be considered sleepwear, but “lounge pants” for safety reasons. Happy sewing! Link
Repurpose Sleeves into Pants Tutorial
Holy smiling tushies, Batman! Look at those pants…I mean sleeves…I mean. Ok. Ok. I’m done amusing myself. These happy knickers are the handiwork of Just Tutes who fashioned them out of a pair of long sleeves. She’s got a great tutorial complete with fancy diagrams so that you can make some, too!
