Jade has posted the latest project at Craft Hope! This time she’s partnering with the Miracle Foundation to send baby blankets, booties, and hats to newborns in India.
Interested in being a part of this worthwhile crafting endeavor? I thought so! There are so many ways in which you can help:
- Sign up at Craft Hope with your pledge to make something
- Submit a pattern or tutorial for making a baby blanket, booties, or newborn cap/beanie to Craft Hope for others to use
- Spread the word about Craft Hope by blogging about it, tweeting about it, or share with your friends on Facebook!
Or, perhaps you missed Craft Hope’s last deadline, but still have your heart set on making a doll? I have recently learned of another opportunity to make dolls for children. Just Stuff is collecting dolls to send to orphaned children in Uganda via Amazima Ministries. Their goal is to reach 350 dolls by October and they are offering patterns for sewers, knitters, and crocheters so that everybody can help out! Thank you for posting about this. I haven’t decided if I want to knit or sew, but I am definitely getting involved and will find time to complete at least one!
