Scrappy Necklaces

These necklaces are so cheery and lovely I can hardly stand it. They’re made from fabric scraps and remind me of the friendship bracelets I wore as a youngster. I think they’d make a great gift for older girls and Cakies can tell you how to do it! Go on and make a few for yourself while your at it.

Sock Bunny Tutorial
I’ve been excited about posting this ever since I first saw it at A Listmaker’s Life, but I wanted to wait for St. Patrick’s Day to be over. Katie put a pair of knee highs into double duty by making this adorable sock bunny, then used the leftovers to make leg warmers for her daughter. How awesome is that?! Two gifts in one! Click here to learn how she made the bunny.

Best Pajama Pants Tutorial..Ever
Ok…so crazy skull print aside…this tutorial at Instructables is awesome. I know very little about sewing and I cranked out about 10 pair of pants around Christmas using these instructions. Please note, that if you’re making these for small children they should not be considered sleepwear, but “lounge pants” for safety reasons. Happy sewing! Link
