First, I must say how much I love scoping out craft blogs. The inspiration, the tutorials, the eye candy. I could, and do, spend hours perusing the web and collecting ideas that I may or may not use in the future. As a mother of two young girls, I find that I am especially drawn to ideas that are relevant to my own children. The possibilities are endless when it comes to a creating for children. From Montessori toys, to knitted sweaters, to unique artwork, the internet is a treasure trove of ideas for those who enjoy making things themselves.
My goal for this space is to provide a sort of “one-stop shop” for those seeking handmade ideas for children. I will provide links to others’ creations. I will assemble themed Flickr mosaics for inspiration. And, I will highlight Etsy shops with kid-related handmade items for those of you who love handmade goods but would rather buy stuff already made.
